Manufactured by Parker Hannifin, Transair is a fast, flexible, and easy to modify aluminum pipe system for compressed air (dry, wet, and lubricated), vacuum, and inert gas applications. Transair components are reusable and interchangeable, which enables immediate and easy layout modifications.
Transair is an innovative, adaptable, and robust piping system with superior operational efficiency perfectly suited for all industry applications. The Transair product line is sophisticated enough for NASA and easy and affordable enough for a home garage. Hydradyne can help with product questions, design and layout, as well as install.
When compared to traditional pipe, Transair offers significant savings on installation, maintenance, and operating costs. The quick connections eliminate the need to thread, solder, glue, or weld pipe. Transair’s lightweight piping and reduced tooling makes installation easy, fast, and also improves the working conditions of the installers. Transair piping is easier to lift and handle than standard steel piping, and its push-to-connect fittings secure connections with a simple push and twist. The Transair fittings eliminate the need for skilled pipe fitters, special tools, pipe preparation, and threading.
The modular design enables disassembly when required unlike other connection technologies that are permanently crimpled or welded. Also, due to its removable and reusable connection technology, Transair pipe systems can be quickly installed and adapted for your operation’s needs.
Transair offers significant savings on installation costs while providing you the flexibility down the road to make any necessary modifications or additions.
Transair offers the advantages of being lightweight, strong, and corrosion resistant. Unlike steel or copper, which degrades over time due to corrosion, Transair piping systems provide clean air quality with optimum flow rate performance. Transair is an environmentally sustainable and responsible product that reduces the carbon footprint by 80 percent over steel pipe installations. The materials used to produce Transair pipe and fittings are 100 percent recyclable and guaranteed silicone free.
Transair aluminum pipe systems ensure a total absence of corrosion with self-protection by formation of aluminum oxide guarding valuable assets and avoiding maintenance costs. With its quick connection technology, Transair also significantly reduces energy costs and increases operational efficiency by reducing pressure drops, eliminating leaks, and minimizing installation and maintenance costs.
